FUNDRAISING NEWS AND THANKS

HAPPA are pleased to work alongside Pets at Home and Support Adoption For Pets to achieve recognition for the Charity, the work that we do and to raise vital funds. Support Adoption For Pets is an independent charity that was established by the Pets at Home organisation.

The Pets at Home store in Burnley and Colne have officially nominated HAPPA as a charity that they wish to support.

Our partnership means we can hold fundraising activities in store, we receive funds from the Support Adoption for Pets fundraising weeks and we receive food for the equines in care through the surplus and damaged stock scheme. So if you live locally keep a check for HAPPA appearances at your nearest store or via Social Media or the HAPPA What’s On Guide.

We were also delighted to have been successfully awarded with a grant from Support Adoption For Pets of £20,000 that was put towards the project of building an Isolation Facility at Shores Hey Farm. Support Adoption For Pets is a charity who aims to help give abandoned and unwanted pets a new life by offering financial support to organisations that rescue and rehome animals, such as HAPPA.

The new isolation facility was required to improve equine welfare at the Centre and meet standards recommended for isolation and has helped us raise standards for equines in our care, even further.

We would like to thank the Support Adoption For Pets team and their trustees for granting our application.

HAPPA would like to acknowledge the continued support from the Board of Trustees at The Bolton Guild of Help. We are also extremely grateful for a grant awarded to the Charity for the purchase of an electrical hoist (installed in the Isolation Unit) to support equines who come to the Centre who cannot support their own body weight.

HAPPA would like to acknowledge the continued support from Carr, Day and Martin which has included fundraising, advice and guidance for the care of the equines at the Centre, of donations of goods for the equines in our care and the team also judged the first HAPPA Fun Horse Show (digital).

We look forward to a long and continued association with the Company.

HAPPA would like to acknowledge the continued support from Baileys Horse Feeds which has included advice and nutritional guidance for the care of the equines at the Centre and donations of goods for the equines in our care.

We look forward to a long and continued association with the Company.
