Golden Oldies

Golden Oldies currently residing at Shores Hey Farm:-

PILGRIM
Pilgrim is a cheeky donkey gelding who came to HAPPA in 1995 at just two days old. He was found suckling his dead mother and had to be bottle fed around the clock. As a result he grew up into a very spoilt and totally indulged member of the HAPPA family. He still thinks he is a human and causes havoc wherever he goes. He has been known to steal handbags and goodies from unsuspecting visitors but he can also be on his best behaviour when it suits him. He is in huge demand at Christmas when he is regularly invited to church and local schools as the star in the nativity and everyone who meets him just falls in love with this individual little character.

KIWI
Kiwi is a lovely 16.1hh bay Thoroughbred mare who arrived at Shores Hey Farm in December 2008 along with her son Bertie. She had been rescued by a HAPPA Welfare Officer after being discovered in an extremely thin condition and with untreated wounds. Kiwi is now fit and well and enjoying her new life at Shores Hey Farm.
