HAPPA are celebrating the anniversary of the development project and 80 years of saving equine lives at Shores Hey Farm, by staging a Grand Open Day that takes place on Saturday 9th September at 12 noon.
During the day there will be displays in the Indoor Arena by the HAPPA team and their equines, RDA Carriage Driving, Western Riding and MereBrow Dog Training Academy.
In the conference suites there will be a selection of stalls with great ideas for gifts and HAPPA’s Hook-a-Duck, Glitter Tattoos and Paint a Pony. There will also be a Giant Tombola and Raffle with prizes including Hospitality tickets for two to Burnley V Swansea City, £20 gift voucher for Pets at Home, Bottle of champagne and Afternoon Tea for Two at Slattery’s.
Children will be able to meet and greet with HAPPA mascot Tommy Trotter or join in the fun and games with the Tommy Trotter Experience.
The Visitor’s Centre will have a great selection of refreshments including a traditional Hog-Roast.
There will also be stands representing RSPCA East Lancashire, Woodlands Animal Sanctuary and Lancashire Hawks and Owls.
