HAPPA are very excited to announce the launch of their e-commerce site The Fussy Filly. Due to the recent restrictions enforced by the Government, resulting in the Charity closing its doors to visitors at Shores Hey Farm, the Charity has decided to move their onsite Shop onto its very own dedicated website.
The Fussy Filly www.thefussyfilly.co.uk offers a way to support HAPPA whilst shopping from the safety of home. The online shop brings to you; new and second hand equestrian products, from head collars to hoof oil, a range of farm and equine themed toys for children, various items for dogs, and a small selection of HAPPA merchandise.
Laura Brown, HAPPA’s Equine Development Officer, explains “HAPPA, like many charities, are being forced, due to current pandemic, to look at innovative ways to continue fundraising. The Charity decided to offer the onsite shop to shoppers’ living rooms simply by the click of a button.
We have a great selection of items for horses or ponies which are proving already to be popular, and for the children the collectables such as the Scleich Horse Range and Tractor Ted will keep younger ones entertained whilst on lockdown.
The purpose of The Fussy Filly is to continue to raise funds for the 50 plus equines in HAPPA’s care that have been saved from neglect, cruelty and abandonment. In addition the charity is still continuing to investigate reports of cruelty and neglect. Vital income has seen a decline due to the Centre and Café been closed to the public. The Fussy Filly ecommerce site fills the gap and enables fundraising to continue during these difficult times.
The Charity are appealing to all HAPPA supporters, equestrian enthusiasts, dog owners and parents of children in lockdown to shop at The Fussy Filly to help HAPPA to continue to help horses www.thefussyfilly.co.uk.”
