Beginners Horse Care Courses are ideal for all ages who enjoy horse riding, but do not get the opportunity to learn about horse husbandry. It is also a great for parents and guardians of minors starting to explore what is involved in owning a horse, giving you the chance to develop knowledge before that big commitment.
If this sounds like you let our experienced and qualified equestrians guide you through all the key elements of horse care with an exciting blend of hands on horse time and class room learning.
Part 1 & 2 are available for children (aged 7+) and adults to complete at the Charity’s Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre, Shores Hey Farm, Burnley, Lancashire BB10 3QU.
For a unique family learning experience the adult and child course is a popular choice for parents and guardians; this year we are delighted to announce that we are running Beginners Guides courses for both parents & children to attend at the same time!
