HAPPA Samson #FindaForeverHomeFest

Born 2003, 7hh, Shetland, Grey, Gelding.

Samson was Rescued by the Charity following an investigation by an Equine Inspector. He was found with his two companions severely overweight and completely unhandled. Since being at the Centre Samson has lost a considerable amount of weight and with the care of the Equine Care Team he has learned how to pick his feet out, be groomed, be lead, been seen by the Vet and Farrier.

Samson is looking for a home where his weight can continued to be managed with diet and limited turnout. He has suffered with laminitis in the past, with some rotation in his pedal bones, and having been castrated on 13th October 2020 is still looking for an experienced handler. He would ideally suit another small gelding with similar management requirements to keep him company. Unfortunately with being castrated late in life he is unsuitable to be around children.

He will be ready to leave the Centre after 3rd December 2020.
