Born 2003, 7hh, Shetland, Black, Gelding.
Sol came into the Centre after he was Rescued by the Charity following an investigation by an Equine Inspector. He was found with his two companions severely overweight and completely unhandled. Since being at the Centre Sol has lost a considerable amount of weight and with the care of the Equine Care Team he has learned how to pick his feet out, be groomed, be lead, been seen by the Vet and Farrier.
Sol is looking for a home where his weight can continued to be managed with diet and limited turnout. He has suffered with laminitis in the past, he has a loving personality and enjoys being around people. He is very socialable and thrives from equine companionship. Sol would ideally suit another small pony with similar management requirements.
He will be ready to leave the Centre after 3rd December 2020.
