Born 2013, 13hh, Cob, Skewbald Mare.
Rapidash came into the Centre with two other mares after being found abandoned. She was under weight and covered in lice, she also had a big sarcoid on her chest (which has been successfully removed). After her treatment had finished she underwent the backing process and is a real gem.
Rapidash has three correct paces and works nicely on the flat and out on the roads, she is used as a nanny at the Centre for our youngsters and isn’t fazed by heavy traffic. Rapidash can still be a little green at times so would need a more experienced home to help her reach her full potential, ideally would be suited as a second pony.
She is good to do, but can be a little nervous of the farrier.
