Skip came into the Centre at the foot of her Dam after a collaborative effort involving HAPPA and World Horse Welfare, enabling the rescue of a herd of 40 Welsh Mountain Ponies.

Skip has come on very well since arriving here at the Centre. She was weaned from her Dam at six months and has settled into the yard routine. She goes out with her foal friends HAPPA Dorito and Buddy to socialise and play.

Skip is a little nervous as she is still learning, but she improves every day. She is able to be bathed, groomed and have her feet picked out. She is very inquisitive and loves a fuss.

Skip will need an experienced Temporary Foster Care Home used to handling young ponies to continue with her education. Skip needs holding for the Farrier and is still a little wary of the Vet, however, with time and reassurance she will improve. She would benefit from year round turnout with other horses to socialise with.

Skip is up to date with her vaccinations and worming.
