HAPPA Nat came into the Centre under the Peace of Mind Scheme seven years ago. He was much loved by his previous owner and in his younger days he competed in Harness Racing. Nat has since retired and been enjoying the easy life.

On arrival at the centre in 2015 Nat was fully assessed and it was agreed that he was ready for retirement and to find a home as a Companion. He was fortunate to find a loving home as a companion to one of our retired police horses, until the recent passing of Nat’s friend. Nat is looking for a home to continue enjoying his retirement in. He is happy both stabled and living out, although he does require some daily turnout due to his age.

Nat is a sweet, kind natured horse, who often keeps himself to himself. He is a little shy at first and unsure of new surroundings, but isn’t fazed by much. He is easy to handle despite his size and good to do in all ways.

Nat makes an excellent companion, particularly to larger horses. He is no bother in the field, happy to graze quietly with any companion. Nat is happy to be left alone for short periods of time if his companion is exercising. He is looking for a loving home with an experienced owner to live out the rest of his days with.

Nat is up to date with all his vaccination, worming, etc. He is good with both the Vet and Farrier. Despite Nat’s size and age, he keeps his weight well, only needing haylage and a balancer, and has no health issues or special requirements.
