It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the sudden loss of HAPPA Tanqueray (Tank) on Sunday 3rd of January 2021. The Vet was called on Sunday morning due to Tanqueray’s health unexpectedly deteriorating rapidly, the Vet explained that his organs were failing and it was a matter of urgency to euthanise him without delay to end his suffering.
Tank was a loving, cheeky chap who thrived from cuddles, he was a firm favourite amongst the staff and supporters, was named through a social media poll shortly after his birth at Shores Hey Farm and was a popular equine on the Second Chance Sponsorship Scheme. We are devastated to have lost him, especially at such a young age, he was rising two this year and had a bright future ahead of him.
Tank had a happy life here at Shores Hey Farm, all be it a short one, it was full of quality. He was born at the Centre to mare HAPPA Tonic and was very much loved by the staff and visitors, he got along with most horses and had an adorable personality. He will be very sadly missed by everyone here at HAPPA. Rest in peace little Tanqueray, run free over the Rainbow Bridge.
