This free, ticketed event has been created as a heartfelt thank you to the incredible individuals who support HAPPA’s journey of rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and education. Without our supporters, our work simply would not be possible.
Supporters Day offers a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes at HAPPA, meet our resident rescue horses, hear directly from our leadership team and gain deeper insight into the impact your support makes every single day.
In 1937, Mona Margarite Huskie refused to look away.
Having witnessed the terrible suffering of working horses, Mona turned her compassion into action. She founded HAPPA and began a campaign against the live export of vulnerable horses, determined to create a better future for equines. She simply knew that one horse suffering was one horse too many. Almost nine decades later, her vision continues.
Today, HAPPA Rescues, Rehabilitates, Rehomes and protects equines, while Educating future generations and building a sustainable future for the charity. Our Lasting Legacy VIP Day will take you on a journey through HAPPA’s remarkable history, from Mona’s first courageous campaign to the horses whose lives are being transformed today.
