The Club for those who love equines & cake!

Are you passionate about horses or eager to learn equine care basics? Our Equine Care & Cake Club is the perfect opportunity to gain essential knowledge about horse care in a welcoming, non-judgemental, social setting. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this monthly evening event blends education, connection, and sweet treats at the HAPPA Café.

Led by our experienced HAPPA Education Manager, each session dives into specific equine care topics. From horse behaviour and grooming techniques to safely caring for horses, you’ll leave equipped with practical knowledge and confidence. Best of all, no prior experience is required – just a bit of enthusiasm and love for horses!

This is a theory based club, so there will be no practical sessions involved. However, we do have our CPD Course, which offers hands-on education experience with our HAPPA horses, if you’re looking for a course to complete alongside attending the Equine Care & Cake Club.

“I can’t thank Jen enough for this club. Starting a new hobby or skill can be so daunting as an adult, especially if you’re doing it alone. I already feel like I’ve learnt so much and I don’t know why I was so worried to book on – everyone there is really kind and supportive. Thanks for a great laugh and new knowledge.”

Absolutely! Each session is tailored to all experience levels – whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been in the industry for years. It’s a great opportunity to keep up-to-date with knowledge and information, share your experiences and meet new people.
We totally get why you’d feel that way—joining something new on your own can be a little nerve-wracking! But we promise, you’re not alone in that feeling, and this club is such a welcoming, friendly space. Everyone here is very supportive and non-judgmental (we wouldn’t have it any other way!). It’s all very relaxed, and you can get involved at your own pace—no pressure at all. Jen and the rest of the club are always here to support you, and a couple of our staff members will be at the sessions too, so if you ever need a familiar face, they’ll be there to help. You’ve got this, and we can’t wait to welcome you!
