15.00hh Skewbald Traditional Cob Gelding Born 2012 came in as a result of a complaint on 09/04/14 after his owner was struggling to cope; Alfie came into the Centre with a mite infestation and was suffering from severe mud fever, he had contracted Lymphangitis as a result.
In order to prevent his condition from getting worse his owner was given the option to sign the pony over into HAPPA’s care. Alfie returned to our Rescue Centre and began a rehabilitation programme and has since made a full recovery, although he is prone to heal mites his condition is able to be managed.
