HAPPA Rudolph and HAPPA Comet

HAPPA Rudolph Skewbald Arab Colt X Born 2012 & HAPPA Comet Black Arab Colt Born 2012
Part of one of HAPPA’s largest rescues; 33 in total taken into care in December 2014. Although all of the equines were in a satisfactory condition with no immediate welfare concerns, had HAPPA not intervened the result could have proved catastrophic. The owners had been trying to cope with the huge financial burdens and were naturally very emotionally distressed.
The rescue was challenging in many ways as several of the equines were entire and needed to be castrated on arrival at the Centre. Rudolph and Comet were castrated onsite whilst in Isolation at Shores Hey.
Both Rudolph and Comet continue to develop and are maturing into big strong magnificent horses and are currently beginning their rehabilitation programme, commencing with ground work in preparation for an exciting prosperous ridden career.
