At HAPPA, you can expect a fun-filled day out for all ages. Meet our friendly resident horses and ponies, learn about their stories and personalities, and get up close and personal with our dedicated team of professionals.
Make the most of your visit with our range of fun onsite educational activities, visit our new Evolution of Equine Welfare Museum or take a look at our calendar of upcoming events. Don’t forget to visit HAPPA Direct, our onsite Tack and Gift Shop, where you’ll find everything you need for your equine companion. From new and second-hand equestrian items to toys, gifts, and pet supplies, our shop is a treasure trove for horse lovers and pet owners alike.

Don’t forget, we are also dog friendly! This applies to Shores Hey Farm and The HAPPA Café.
Canine companions can join us in the lower tier of The HAPPA Cafe, with readily available water bowls and dispensers , cooling mats and accessories, or ask for a sausage from the menu! Explore the great outdoors as dogs on leads are welcome around the stables and field tracks.
Venture further afield as HAPPA is set on fantastic bridleways and The Burnley Way.
How To Visit HAPPA
We would kindly ask that all visitors book a visit online so that numbers onsite can be controlled. When you arrive please report to Reception, our friendly Reception Team will welcome you and talk you through all we have to offer onsite. All visitors should follow government restrictions to ensure that everyone has a safe and an enjoyable visit.
There is an entry fee charge of £6 per adult(16+) and £1 per child (1+) to access the farm. Your support in paying our entry fees will go a long way in supporting the Charity’s vital work: Giving a Second Chance to Abused, Neglected and Unwanted Equines.
Please support the vital work of the Charity during your visit by paying the entry fee, or even an added donation. The Charity receives no state or lottery funding and is supported by the generosity of kind individuals and businesses alike.
Visitors that hold a valid Membership/Sponsorship and show proof at Reception have complete complementary access in all areas around site for themselves and accompanying group.
