Ariel is looking for her forever home as a companion. She is a sensitive soul who really benefits from calm and kind handling. She can easily become overwhelmed and will need someone with lots of time and patience to help her readjust in her new home.

Ariel is very food motivated and will be your friend for an apple. She takes to positive reinforcement very well and would make great progress with someone with experience using reward training methods.

She is good to brush and bath and does enjoy some attention once she gets to know you. She likes going on walks round the farm and particularly enjoys going for a splash in the stream.

She has only ever been turned out with other mares, not in a mixed group. She is well behaved for the vet but isn’t very keen on the farrier and will kick out with her back legs. This is something we are currently trying to work through with her, so an experienced home is an absolute priority.

She will happily live in or out and she is generally good to catch but she can take a little encouragement if she has been upset. Overall, she is a sweet girl who needs 1-to-1 attention as she would make a lovely companion for someone.
