I came to HAPPA after being signed over because my circumstances changed, and it was a huge turning point for me. When I arrived, I was so timid and unsure of everything that the team gently left my headcollar on while I learned it was safe to be caught and handled. Every day I’m taking little steps forward, and I can feel my confidence growing just a bit more each time.

Since then, so much has changed. I’ve started making lots of new friends, both equine and human, and I’m beginning to believe I truly belong here. I’m learning all the time, and each kind touch and familiar face helps me feel a little braver.

And now I get to share the happiest news of all: my beautiful, healthy baby boy, Ozzie! I gave birth in April 2026 at Shores Hey Farm, and what a moment it was. He was a lovely surprise for everyone the next day, and I don’t think any of us will ever forget it.
