In May 2025, Moana arrived at HAPPA after being rescued from unsuitable conditions alongside her mum, Ariel. Since then, she has spent her early months growing, learning and exploring with her friends Belle and Cheeto. Now weaned, Moana is ready to begin the next chapter of her journey and is looking for a forever home where she can continue to thrive.

Moana is confident with people but can feel a little unsure in new situations. She takes reassurance from her handler and from having calm horses nearby, so she will suit someone with a calm yet firm approach who can continue her training at a steady, supportive pace.

She is good to groom, happy to have her feet picked out, and enjoys regular walks around the farm, including trips down to the river for a splash. Moana has also recently started practising loading and has shown herself to be very willing.

A playful and energetic youngster, Moana can become fresh quite quickly, so consistent turnout and suitable companions will be essential to help her stay settled and happy.
