We are thrilled to share the exciting news of a new corporate partnership forged in the wake of the latest addition to our Charity’s Rescue Centre in Burnley, Lancashire. Wren Coaching and Wellbeing, a reputable establishment nestled in Lancashire, reached out to HAPPA (Horse and Pony Protection Association) upon learning about the opportunity to sponsor a newly born foal.

Renata Gianquitto, the founder and owner of Wren Coaching and Wellbeing, was moved by the cause and promptly seized the chance to support the foal and its mother. The duo had been rescued by HAPPA as part of a concerted effort involving various welfare agencies to extract 40 equines from unfavorable conditions. Utilizing social media, HAPPA launched an appeal for sponsorship to aid in the care of the mare and her newborn foal, offering sponsors the unique privilege of naming the ponies.

The mare has been affectionately christened HAPPA Clarity, while the adorable foal is now known as HAPPA Wren. Renata shares the inspiration behind the name Wren, citing its dual significance. Not only is it a playful nod to her own nickname, Ren, but it also symbolizes a small bird with a potent voice, representing the empowerment and liberation that coaching can bestow upon individuals.

Renata expresses a profound affinity for charitable causes, particularly those aligned with the values and aspirations of Wren Coaching & Wellbeing. HAPPA, with its commitment to equine welfare, struck a chord with Renata, bolstered by her daughter Chiara’s passion for horses and her personal encounter with HAPPA’s CEO, Sarah. Renata was deeply moved by the compassion and dedication exhibited by HAPPA towards their equine charges.

Phillippa Hawkard, HAPPA’s Development Manager, extends heartfelt gratitude to Renata and Wren Coaching for their generous support and the thoughtful names bestowed upon the newest members of the HAPPA family. The partnership with Wren Coaching underscores the vital role that corporate sponsors play in advancing the charity’s mission.

HAPPA extends an invitation to local and national businesses to consider joining the ranks of corporate sponsors, emphasizing the tangible impact such partnerships can have on neglected, abused, and unwanted equines. Interested parties can explore Corporate Sponsorship Packages on the HAPPA website, knowing that their support will directly contribute to the well-being of these magnificent animals. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.
