Did you attend Mandy’s Magical Wreath Making Workshop?

Every year our Head Of Equine Operations, Amanda Berry hosts a wreath making workshop at Shores Hey Farm. She runs four sessions over two weekends that are always a joy to be apart of.

This special event definitely gets you into the Christmas spirit with a day packed full of creativity and great company. The classroom is adorned with festive music and beautiful decorations, what’s not to love. Mandy has been running the workshops for a number of years at HAPPA and every year each session is completely sold out weeks in advance.

Mandy spends a lot of time before the sessions gathering and preparing the supplies. This year she recruited some of her team members and volunteers to go out foraging around the grounds of local businesses.

Our resident Wreath Making expert, Mandy showed the attendees step by step, how to create a masterpiece that you can display on your door throughout December or some of our attendees gift their wreaths to a loved one.

Each year a number of HAPPA staff also turn their hand to creating a beautiful wreath that is then sold to raise extra funds for the Charity. This year our Fundraising Co-Ordinator, Megan got involved with the workshop on Sunday 2nd December and her wreath sold within 5 minutes!

Mandy says,”Another fabulous Wreath Workshop with some wonderful creations. Thank you to Megan for being amazing, making her first masterpiece which subsequently sold in the space of 5 minutes. Lovely feedback from all of our attendees. They are already asking when next years dates will be available to book.”

So I suppose the question is, will we need extra sessions adding on next year? You’ll just have to wait and see!

Secure your spot promptly for Mandy’s Wreath Making Workshop in 2024, as our time slots fill up rapidly! Don’t miss out on the chance to join this popular event.
