Gala & Awards Evening

We are delighted to invite supporters, local businesses, animal lovers and community champions to join us for HAPPA’s Charity Gala & Awards Evening, a sparkling night dedicated to celebrating outstanding people and animals while raising vital funds for equines in need.

The gala will take place at Mercure Dunkenhalgh Spa & Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors, on Saturday 26th September from 6.30pm, and promises an uplifting evening of recognition, entertainment and fundraising in support of our life-changing work.

Earlier this year, we launched the Hoof & Hearts Awards for the North of England to recognise the people and animals who make an extraordinary difference. We welcomed nominations from charities, non-profits, businesses and individuals leading the way in animal welfare and community support.

During the evening, we will celebrate nominees across seven award categories and shine a spotlight on the dedication, compassion and impact found throughout the region’s animal welfare community, from fluffy and feathered to scaled and hoofed.

Guests can look forward to a memorable evening featuring a three-course meal, live entertainment, a raffle, an auction and the prestigious awards presentation, all designed to celebrate the animal-loving community and generate essential support for our ongoing rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming work.

We are incredibly excited to celebrate this special occasion with our supporters, friends and the wider animal welfare community. Our Charity Gala & Awards Evening will be a wonderful opportunity to recognise inspiring achievements, enjoy a fantastic evening together and raise much-needed funds for animals who rely on our care.
