I arrived at HAPPA Shores Hey Farm from another rescue organisation after being saved from a serious welfare situation. I had been part of a group of horses rescued from an owner who failed to provide basic care, including parasite control, farriery treatment, and veterinary attention. Severely malnourished and carrying a heavy worm burden, I needed immediate support, careful handling, and a calm environment where my recovery could begin safely.

My rescue marked the start of a hopeful new chapter. With a tailored rehabilitation plan, regular health checks, farriery care, and patient support from the team, I am gradually rebuilding my strength and confidence. My journey shows the vital importance of rescue and rehabilitation work, and with continued kindness and care, I now have the chance to enjoy a brighter future.
